CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: The Complete First Season [Blu-ray]

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: The Complete First Season [Blu-ray] Review

I delayed purchasing this title on Blu-ray for two reasons - waiting to see if it would be released in the UK as a region B or region free issue and concern about the many reviews criticising the video and sound quality.

In the end, I gave up waiting for a UK release and chose to ignore the negative reviews and judge for myself.

All I can say is that both video and sound quality are very good. I can only assume that those who criticise this Blu-ray title either have deficiencies with their home cinema equipment or have very unrealistic expectations.

Using a Pioneer BDP-LX71 Blu-ray player connected to a Pioneer PDP-LX5090 50 inch 1080p plasma the picture is sharp, with excellent black depth and detail. Grain was very rarely visible and the whole transfer is impressive when compared to the DVD release which I also have. It's widescreen too. The picture is more grainy than some of the best Blu-ray releases when paused however.

With the HD soundtrack playing through a Dali Helicon 5 channel speaker set-up via Primare electronics, I never thought it was anything other than excellent. I never noticed the problem of unclear voices reported by some others.

Another notable plus is the packaging. The five discs, all of which are easily individually accessible, are accommodated within a standard size and thickness Blu-ray case. Why can't all box sets be packaged this way?

The one big negative is the advertisement for the Star Trek Blu-ray release at the start of the first disc - this appears to disable all player transport functions to defeat any attempt to skip or fast forward through it. Extremely annoying!

AND.....WHY IS IT REGION CODED AND NOT REGION FREE???? I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW THE JUSTIFICATION.

Taxi Driver [Blu-ray]

Taxi Driver [Blu-ray] Review

I'd heard Taxi Driver was a great movie, and with Scorcese at the helm and all kinds of famous actors in it to boot, I was expecting good things. Nor was I disappointed. Taxi Driver is a special movie. It's a character study on one hand, a philisophical treatise on the other. It simultaneously entertains with it's sultry shots of 1975 NYC, lots of good dialogue between the characters, and a story line that unfolds naturally - people who appreciate photography will especially like Taxi Driver - it's a joy to watch Scorcese tell this tale.

The movie is accessible on many levels, the acting is fantastic and the story itself, subtle, violent, occasionally funny - and finally, something to think about for those that are paying attention.

SPOILERS

The thing to notice is when he's trying to decide if he should 'do a bad thing' and he's talking to one of the other taxi drivers asking for advice. One of the things the guy says as he tries to talk him down is that we are what we do.. like you do a job, and that becomes who you are. This movie is never very 'in your face' about it's message if it could be said to have one at all. But what does happen? Either way, Travis is kind of a sick puppy with the desire to kill. When that desire is aimed at the politician, he's a wacko (he wants to whack him because the girl he loves and who rejected him, is working on his campaign - this would be a kind of revenge, showing who 'has the power' - in his twisted mind).

On the other hand, he meets the underage prostitute (Jodie Foster), devolops a protective streak towards her and ultimately ends up offing her pimp and other would-be enablers of her profession. This happens somewhat by accident. His first mission was to off the politicician. He takes up Jody Foster's mission as kind of a side inspiration and does the deed before he gets a chance to kill the politician. When the smoke clears he's a hero. An accidental hero. Again, the words of the older taxi driver are fulfilled: 'You are what you do'.

The IRONY is that it could so easily have gone the other way. What would he have been if he'd managed to hit the politician? Had it gone as he'd originally planned, he'd certainly have been nothing less than the 'trash' he despised - from any rational person's point of view. How much of what we do is up to chance, luck, or as fate would have it? The movie seems to unconsciously ask this question. Travis is a 'walking contradiction'. He hates the scum, the sickos, the perverts, but finally, it's only a stroke of fate that distinguishes him from them.

Taxi Driver is a great ride, and there are many reasons to see it.

Loved the mohawk. This movie is hard as nails.

Taxi Driver [Blu-ray] Overview

Taxi Driver is the definitive cinematic portrait of loneliness and alienation manifested as violence. It is as if director Martin Scorsese and screenwriter Paul Schrader had tapped into precisely the same source of psychological inspiration ("I just knew I had to make this film," Scorsese would later say), combined with a perfectly timed post-Watergate expression of personal, political, and societal anxiety. Robert De Niro, as the tortured, ex-Marine cab driver Travis Bickle, made movie history with his chilling performance as one of the most memorably intense and vividly realized characters ever committed to film. Bickle is a self-appointed vigilante who views his urban beat as an intolerable cesspool of blighted humanity. He plays guardian angel for a young prostitute (Jodie Foster), but not without violently devastating consequences. This masterpiece, which is not for all tastes, is sure to horrify some viewers, but few could deny the film's lasting power and importance. --Jeff Shannon

Varsity Blues [Blu-ray]

Varsity Blues [Blu-ray] Review

The brief synopsis: In West Canaan, Texas, football is life. The entire city revolves around the religion of football. The team is led by big-man-on-campus Lance Harbor (Paul Walker). Along with the typical cast of zany teammates, a maniacal, championship coach named Bud Kilmer (Jon Voigt - awesome in this role), and the backup QB, Jonathan Moxon (Van Der Beek), the team faces and overcomes difficulties. Team pulls out improbable, far-fetched play to triumph in the end. Tons of exciting and believable football action sequences. There has always been something about the movie that troubled me, however - aside from the improbability of finding a football helmet that would fit Dawson's coconut - Jonathan Moxon's character.

Mox never studies, yet he's rumored to be in the running for an academic scholarship to an Ivy League University (Brown). When Harbor goes down early in the season, Mox must step up and be a hero. With scholarship dreams dancing in his head, Mox had put all of his eggs in one basket. The only problem is his complete nonchalance and inattentiveness to his studies also leaks into his football. Despite these deficiencies, he becomes an overnight superstar. He gets free beer after the game, but it's not a big deal. Everything up until this point in the movie is fishy, and THIS is where I figured out what was going on.

No real controversy to get beer. Hmm. Doesn't study school books or play books. Hmm. Mox has failed over ten times; he's in his late twenties, been in high school for years, and his receding hairline finally gave him away.

The reason he didn't need to read the playbook is because he memorized the plays. Kilmer has been using the same plays for each of Dawson's last 8 years as a backup! It appears that Kilmer is frustrated that Mox doesn't read the playbook or pay attention during games, but it's actually because he's sick of seeing Mox on the sidelines. If he is going to stick around that long, he may as well be an assistant coach.

Why doesn't he study in the classroom? He's auditing the courses! He's essentially the white Radio, going to class even when it doesn't matter. He's been applying to Brown for years! That's why it's so important to him. He wants to FINALLY move out of his parents' house.

In the middle of the movie, he turns down Ali Larter (who should be a megastar because of this scene alone) in a whipped cream bikini. No way a teenage boy turns that down. No way. Why does Moxon? Two words: statutory rape. Why is he with Amy Smart? Because he knows she's the goody-two-shoes, and there is no risk (i.e. no breasts). How do the guys get into the strip club, let alone get a free ride? It's on Moxon's credit card; he opened a tab!

It all adds up folks. It doesn't get in the way of making this one of the more imminently rewatchable sports movies of all time, but it definitely adds something to the viewing pleasure. Even on late-night TV, this is always a must watch - a TEN! - if only to prove my theory once again.

Varsity Blues [Blu-ray] Specifications

This MTV-produced drama only looks like an adaptation of H.G. Bissinger's expert dissertation of the church of high school football, Friday Night Lights. The energetic, breezy movie has none of the seriousness of Bissinger's book except on its basic level: in West Texas, high school football is life. Into this world comes Jonathan "Mox" Moxon (James Van Der Beek), a brainy, uncharacteristic jock who sits on the sideline reading Slaughterhouse Five until the West Caanan High School Coyotes All-Texas QB goes down with an injury. Suddenly the spotlight and the tyrannical ways of coach Bud Kilmer (another ace evil turn by Jon Voight) are on Mox and the light is white-hot. There have been several films that show tough, honest kids doing their best against the worst of small-town coaches (Tom Cruise in All the Right Moves, for one) but Varsity Blues, in its glossy style, takes a more curious turn: studying what happens when celebrity comes to the well-adjusted high schooler. Mox starts seeing the rewards of stardom: a six-pack under the counter, acceptance in school, even easy sex from the girl who goes after the starting quarterback (Ali Larter). Will Mox win the big game? Will he bend to the wills of his coach? Will he stay with his old girlfriend? The questions are easy enough to answer, but the film has an ace up its sleeve: Van Der Beek has the stuff to carry the movie. Fans of TV's Dawson's Creek will see a slightly grittier dreamboat here, and Van Der Beek's care with the role makes the most ludicrous parts--including a trip to a strip club--manage a certain aura. --Doug Thomas

Aeon Flux [Blu-ray]

Aeon Flux [Blu-ray] Review

Aeon Flux (2005) is a slick science fiction adventure, with Aeon being a sleek, attractive, and athletic heroine. The character is taken from an animated MTV short, created by Peter Chung. Substantial changes were made in order to develop a suitable full length story, and to allow for the adaptation of an animated adventure, to a real life format. The story is complicated, but holds together pretty well, and features various futuristic sets, numerous action sequences, and impressive special effects.

In order to survive a deadly plague, drastic measures were required, and the last remnants of humanity live in a city with walls along its perimeter, called Bregna. Life seems ideal, but a small organization, known as the Monicans seeks to destroy the government structure. Aeon Flux (Charlize Theron), is an elite guerilla operative for the Monicans, who receives instructions telepathically, from the Handler (Frances McDormand). Her next mission is huge, to assassinate the head of the government, Trevor Goodchild (Marton Csokas). Tragically, before she is about to embark, Aeon's sister Una (Amelia Warner) is shot, apparently for being suspected as a Monican.

Oren Goodchild (Jonny Lee Miller), is also a member of the Government, believing his brother Trevor is not with the program, he hatches a scheme to eliminate his older sibling using the Monicans. With the help of Sithandra (Sophie Okonedo) another elite operative, Aeon enters the Cidadel, the seat of the government, and gets into position to complete her mission, but when face to face with Goodchild, Aeon hesitates, and is captured. Things take a dramatic turn when Aeon learns the truth about Trevor, and the work he has been involved in. The two team up to try and survive the Bregnan government, and the Monicans, who regard Aeon as a traitor.

The film shifts into a high action mode in the final stretch. There are some shaky, over the edge moments, but the result are exciting, stylized, and dramatic. Whether the resolution is palatable, is another matter, as Aeon makes a decision that all humanity must live with.

After Charlize Theron won an Oscar for Monster (2003), by her own admission, she did no major physical training, and needed to get in top shape for her physical demanding role as Aeon Flux. Theron and Sophie Okonedo, both tall and athletic, underwent similar training regimes, eventually training together. Remarkably, Theron did almost all of her own stunts, and amazed the production crew with her physical ability and timing. Her acrobatic performance, in a skin tight suit, is quite impressive, as is that of Okonedo whose character has hands for feet.

The future world of Aeon Flux is intriguing, and semi-understandable, but with many mysterious elements. There are theatrical show pieces like the cathedral where the Handler gives directions, a and blimp that flies over the city, and interdimensional transitions, that are really not explained. The unique architecture of Berlin was featured, and helps give the film an certain ambiance and futuristic look. Director Karyn Kusama (Jennifer's Body), whose only previous experience was Girlfight (2000), does a quite remarkable job in a challenging project. The screenplay by Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay, apparently covered much more ground, and may have filled in some of the gaps. Some 30 minutes was reportedly deleted from the director's cut, for the theatrical release. Some may feel that the liberties taken with the character, had already gone too far. Creator Peter Chung, apparently had some problems with the film.

The blu-ray disc does not contain the director's cut, but appears to contain the same 92 minute version of the film, as well as the extras from the Special Collector's Edition. This includes two separate commentary tracks, and a number of informative featurettes. Graeme Revell contributes a cool score for the film. Although perhaps an incomplete vision, for some thoughtful science fiction, with some stylized action, Aeon Flux is worth a look. Based on her performance here, Charlize Theron has great potential in the action genre, and hopefully she will pursue this avenue at some future time.

Aeon Flux [Blu-ray] Overview

400 years in the future, after a virus decimates the world population, only one city on Earth remains. Ruled by the Goodchild dynasty, it is a perfect society of peace and prosperity - except that its citizens keep mysteriously disappearing. Charlize Theron stars as Aeon Flux, a secret agent/assassin/warrior whose mission is to bring down the regime. But as she goes deeper into her mission, Aeon uncovers some shocking secrets that put the mission -- and her life -- in danger.

Aeon Flux [Blu-ray] Specifications

Like the animated series it's based on, Aeon Flux is the kind of sci-fi that's best appreciated by the MTV generation. It's a serious attempt at stylized, futuristic action/adventure (the title character, played by Charlize Theron, is essentially a female James Bond for the cyberpunk era) and taken for what it is, it's not all that bad. The action takes place in the year 2415, four centuries after a virus nearly decimated the human race, leaving only five million survivors in a utopian city called Bregna. Aeon belongs to the Monicans, a secret rebel resistance force that is struggling to destroy the Goodchild regime led by its namesake, Trevor Goodchild (Martin Csokas), the ruler of Bregna and a descendant of the man who found a cure for the deadly virus. As instructed by the Handler (Frances McDormand, gamely playing along in ridiculous sci-fi regalia), Aeon is assigned to assassinate Goodchild, but there are deeper secrets to be discovered, and conspiracies to be foiled. This leads director Karyn Kusama (who fared much better with her debut feature Girlfight) to indulge in all sorts of routine action and fast-paced gunplay, but the elusive pleasures of Aeon Flux are mostly found in the sleek athleticism of Theron and costar Sophie Okonedo (as a fellow Monican), who commit themselves 100% to roles that are dramatically flat yet physically dynamic. Other highlights include Aeon's high-tech gadgetry (including an eyeball that doubles as a microsocope) and the amusing sight of Pete Postlethwaite in a costume resembling a construction-site disposal tube, but Flux fans may wonder what happened to the surreal, chromium sheen future that gave the MTV series its visionary appeal. As a live-action feature, Aeon Flux is a miscalculated exercise in cheesy style and dour tone, but it's entertaining enough to earn a small cadre of admirers. --Jeff Shannon

Swing Vote [Blu-ray]

Swing Vote [Blu-ray] Review

November, 2004, New Mexico. Bud is a slacker with one good thing in his life, his engaging fifth-grade daughter Molly. On election day, Bud is supposed to meet her at the polling place. When he doesn't show, she sneaks a ballot and is about to vote when the power goes off. It turns out that New Mexico's electoral votes will decide the contest, and there it's tied with one vote needing recasting, Bud's. The world's media and both presidential candidates, including the current President, descend on Bud in anticipation of his re-vote in two weeks. Kevin Costner is adorable as the slacker father of a overachieving, 12-year-old daughter. Costner's antics made it laugh out loud funny at times. Overall a good movie.

Swing Vote [Blu-ray] Feature

  • Kevin Costner stars in SWING VOTE, a clever, feel-good "landslide comedy winner. So funny and inspiring, you'll stand up and cheer!" (Pete Hammond, Hollywood.com). Bud Johnson's an ordinary dad drifting through life, caring about nothing except his overachieving daugther Molly. Trying to encourage him to get involved, Molly accidentally sets off a chain of events on Election Day th

Swing Vote [Blu-ray] Overview

Kevin Costner stars in the hilarious timely comedy Swing Vote as Bud Johnson, an Average Joe, who is coasting through life with the help of Molly, his wise-beyond-her-years daughter. In a remarkable turn-of-events, the result of the presidential election comes down to his vote. Costner is joined by a brilliant all-star cast including Dennis Hopper, Kelsey Grammer, Nathan Lane, Stanley Tucci and George Lopez who will stop at nothing to win over the vote of the man who holds the fate of the free word.

Swing Vote [Blu-ray] Specifications

The ghost of Frank Capra is summoned up in Swing Vote, a populist comedy about the U.S. presidential election--because of an electoral deadlock--coming down to one man, one vote. Alarmingly (for the future of the world), that one man is Bud Johnson (Kevin Costner), a beer-swilling, newly-unemployed divorced dad in Texico, New Mexico. Bud's got a week to re-cast his flawed ballot, so the entire election process--including the two candidates, played by Kelsey Grammer and Dennis Hopper--descends on Texico for an orgy of campaign flapdoodle. Costner tries hard (probably too hard) to be the irresponsible good ol' boy, the kind of role he used to be able to handle with ease; by contrast, the composed Madeline Carroll, as his Little Miss Sunshiny daughter, comes off as a model of naturalism. Except for some pointed commercials, in which the candidates sell out their values to appeal to Bud's whimsical opinions on issues such as abortion and gay marriage, the movie's political bite is remarkably toothless. Both Stanley Tucci and Nathan Lane are in the groove as cutthroat campaign managers, and the movie is jolted out of its beery idle with a late one-scene performance by Mare Winningham. There's an interesting film trying to climb out of Swing Vote, but it needs Frank Capra to kick it into shape. --Robert Horton

After the Sunset [Blu-ray]

After the Sunset [Blu-ray] Review

This is one of my favorite beach-set movies. It involves and intricate jewel heist and is set in one of my favorite places in the world: Nassau, Bahamas. There's great scenery, interesting characters and a sub plot involving a local gangster.

After the Sunset [Blu-ray] Overview

After the Sunset may not be the greatest jewel-heist caper comedy ever made, but it sure is easy on the eyes. Shifting back into his crowd-pleasing Rush Hour mode, director Brett Ratner kicks off the action with a rousing chase scene that pretty much describes the entire film: utter nonsense, but adequately enjoyable. Things get very sunny thereafter, when FBI agent Woody Harrelson lands in the Bahamas to track down ace diamond thief Pierce Brosnan and his lovely accomplice Salma Hayek, whom he suspects of planning their next big heist on a cruise ship. A Bahamian gangster (Don Cheadle) wants in on the action, and the whole thing's about as fluffy as an Elmo doll and just as harmless, especially when you consider Hayek's revealing wardrobe (which, thankfully, distracts from Brosnan's less-than-Bond-like physique). There's an abundance of witty banter between everyone, and the tropical locations make After the Sunset a balmy, vicarious vacation. Critics weren't exactly kind to this breezy dose of popcorn entertainment, but it's an agreeable time-killer and an instant cure for seasonal affective disorder, even if the comedic chemistry leaves something to be desired. --Jeff Shannon

Ballast [Blu-ray]

Ballast [Blu-ray] Review

"Ballast" is a small independent movie that was shot with primarily nonprofessional actors. Set in a rural area of the Mississippi Delta, the film focuses on Lawrence (Michael K. Smith, Sr.), a 30-something African-American man who lives on the same property as his twin brother. In the opening scene, a neighbor visits Lawrence, who is in a near catatonic state and won't respond; he's clearly experienced some kind of trauma. Slowly, we learn the back story and the relationships between the other characters who drift into the movie. This is a slice of life not often examined in movies - the realistic lives of poor African Americans in one of the most down-trodden areas of the country.

The movie is extremely low-key and slow paced. Likewise, the acting is often flat and doesn't always feel genuine (the extras show how the scenes were rehearsed and sometimes improved with the cast). However, "Ballast" overall does feel shockingly genuine, and even though it focuses on depressing issues the movie manages to be fairly uplifting without feeling manipulative. First-time director Lance Hammer has managed to tell an original American story that despite its pace is quite captivating. The film was nominated for and won various indie film awards, including a win at the Sundance Film Festival for Best Directing (Dramatic). "Ballast" reminded me a bit in tone and content of another recent indie hit, "Frozen River," and I think it will appeal to a similar audience.

A double prize winner at the Sundance Film Festival and one of the most critically acclaimed films of 2008, Ballast is a stunningly evocative story of personal catastrophe and communal redemption. In the cold winter light of the Mississippi Delta, three lonely people stumble under the weight of a shared tragedy. Lawrence (Micheal J. Smith, Sr.) is paralyzed with grief after the loss of his twin brother. Twelve-year-old James (Jim Myron Ross) drifts into the perilous orbit of local teenagers while his single mother, Marlee (Tarra Riggs), is too exhausted from her menial job to interpret the clues. When sudden violence forces mother and son to flee their home in the night, they alight desperately on Lawrence s property. Though this provides safe harbor, it rekindles the fury of a bitter, longstanding conflict. Writer-director Lance Hammer and his gifted cast of local, non-professional actors have created an unflinching, profoundly humane story of lost souls forced by circumstance to seek solace in the most unlikely of places.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse [Blu-ray]

Resident Evil: Apocalypse [Blu-ray] Review

4.5 out of 5

The Umbrella Corporation needs to know what happened at the Hive and why it was sealed up afterward, so a team is sent down there to open it. Unfortunately, when they do, they unleash an army of the undead and the T-virus is unleashed on the world.

Alice (Milla Jovovich) wanders the streets of Raccoon City, now under quarantine, blasting the heads off of anything dead that moves. Soon she saves Valentine (Sienna Guillory) and crew and the group is quickly contacted by Dr. Ashford (Jared Harris) whose daughter, Angie (Sophie Vavasseur), is still in the city. Umbrella Corporation scanners show her at the school she attends. The deal: if they save his daughter, he'll guide them out of the city and past the perimeter Umbrella has put up to keep the T-virus in. They have to do this before sunrise otherwise they won't make it out before Umbrella nukes the entire city, erasing any trace that the T-virus existed and reanimated the dead.

Oh, and the Nemesis Project is online, and it's on the hunt.

Usually sequels fail after the first, or if they succeed, it's only by a small margin. Well, Resident Evil: Apocalypse is even better than its predecessor and brings another haul of thrills and chills along with it. In this one the post-apocalyptic feel hangs thick on the air. Raccoon City is in ruins. Cars are overturned and on fire. Bodies and blood litter the streets. Guns are going off in the distance.

And zombies are everywhere. Good and gruesome zombies. (I particularly liked the ones featured in the cemetery; the level of rot and decay on those things was exquisite.)

In Resident Evil style, dark things lurk in the shadows and the suspense and tension built in this movie is awesome. I jumped I don't know how many times. Even the parts where you go, "Okay, something's going to pop out . . . NOW!" make you jump. Very cool.

The fight between Nemesis and Alice was cool along with her other wheelings and dealings with the undead. Her super solider-esque, Matrix-like fighting techniques was a treat to watch.

That scene in the school with all those zombie kids? Truly creepy. Adult zombies got nothing on these little terrors.

The movie serves as a nice in-betweener for the first and third. The epic scale of storytelling is terrific, and this is one zombie saga I'm eager to see go on, especially when part four (Resident Evil: Afterlife) comes out in 2011.

Recommended.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse [Blu-ray] Overview

After narrowly escaping the horrors of the underground Hive facility, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is quickly thrust back into a war raging above ground between the living and the Undead. As the city is locked down under quarantine, Alice joins a small band of elite soldiers, led by Valentine and Carlos, enlisted to rescue the missing daughter of Dr. Ashford, the creator of the mutating T-virus. It's a heart-pounding race against time as the group faces off against hordes of blood- thirsty zombies, stealthy Lickers, mutant canines andthe most sinister foe yet. Written and produced by director of Resident Evil, Paul W.S. Anderson (Alien Vs. Predator) and directed by Alexander Witt.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse [Blu-ray] Specifications

2002's popular video-game-derived hit Resident Evil didn't inspire confidence in a sequel, but Resident Evil: Apocalypse defies odds and surpasses expectations. It's a bigger, better, action-packed zombie thriller, and this time Milla Jovovich (as the first film's no-nonsense heroine) is joined by more characters from the popular Capcom video games, including Jill Valentine (played by British hottie Sienna Guillory) and Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr, from 1999's The Mummy). They're armed and ready for a high-caliber encounter with devil dogs, mutant "Lickers," lurching zombies, and the leather-clad monster known only as Nemesis, unleashed by the nefarious Umbrella Corporation responsible for creating the cannibalistic undead horde. Having gained valuable experience as a respected second-unit director on high-profile films like Gladiator and The Bourne Identity, director Alexander Witt elevates this junky material to the level of slick, schlocky entertainment. --Jeff Shannon

Special DBZ - Gohan VS. Androids 17 and 18 (HD 720p)

WATCH IN TRUE 720P: www.youtube.com I re-uploaded this clip in HD and delete the old one, so for those with old favorites. Sorry, and please bookmark this one instead. This clip does not seem as good as my other uploads HD, but that is entirely because the source I have. The Blu-Ray does not look nearly as good as some other releases from FUNimation. I suspect it is because they were both movies and TV does not offer films for the big screen. SoNo transfer of high-quality films, as with other films. Therefore, it seems like a cleaned-scale version DVD. I assure you, even if it could be the full HD resolution is 1280x720. * Read * HD video, of course, require much more computing power and speed of the Internet than the average YouTube video. If you experience a slowdown or lag when playing video in HD ... It is likely that it is because your CPU is not strong enough, the connection to the Internetis not fast enough, or, finally, YouTube is experiencing problems. If you are covered by the above, you can see the clip of "normal quality YouTube" (lol ewww) or you can try this is to use this link: www.youtube.com This is a High Definition (720p/1280x720) Clip Japan, which was converted directly from the history of the tribe / Bardock Double Feature Blu-Ray. This is ripped straight from the source 1080p HD, but while I do this blu ray disc, this video was actuallydownloaded from the Internet for reasons of subtitles (thanks to the online group, which itself Cinefilo). I have seen many comments in the past, people were complaining without subtitles, so that finally, here you go. Check out my channel for more DBZ HQ or HD movies.
